NGO Docudays begins a new institutional project

04 April 2024
"We are creating a society of free people!" this is the vision of the non-governmental organisation Docudays.

NGO Docudays is beginning a new three-year institutional project supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine. Here is what the organisation is focusing on in the next few years:

1) Strengthening democracy in Ukraine, facilitating the development of civil society in Ukraine using documentaries, discussions, and human rights education.
2) Preserving the history of the full-scale war, ensuring systematic documentation of war crimes and informing the global community about the war in Ukraine by developing the Ukraine War Archive.
3) Promoting Ukrainian culture and spreading the truth about the russian invasion of Ukraine through cultural diplomacy in Europe and beyond.
4) Strengthening NGO Docudays as an institution and stable development of the organisation.
5) Ensuring the accessibility of NGO Docudays events in order to include various population groups.

NGO Docudays is grateful to the Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) for their trust and support, for the opportunity to create unique and powerful cultural and human rights products: Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, Docudays UA Travelling Festival, Ukraine War Archive, DOCU/CLUB Film Club Network, DOCU/PRO Industry Platform, DOCUSPACE Online Cinema.

The history of development of civilization based on human rights shows that war is destruction, while art is a portal for revival.

NGO Docudays continues to fulfill its mission together with its reliable partners, creating a society of free people in Ukraine today and building the foundation for recovery and development after our victory.
